This necklace was inspired by these beautiful shiny Czech glass star shaped beads. As I wanted the stars to lay flat to have their best side looking up, I beaded a little construction where each one sits on.
And it gets a bit boring but I used my Double Fibula Wire Clasp again as a closure. I really love this clasp because it combines so well with lots of different styles of jewelry.
An experiment with bicones, one of my favorite beads. I like the way they sit next to each other and form shapes. As a clasp I again used my Double Fibula Wire clasp but I flattened the steel. I read somewhere that steel increases in strength when you hammer it.
After the Teal Victoria I posted a couple of weeks ago now the Gold variation. Apart from the different color scheme and a different clasp I refined the fringe slightly.
This was the very first technique I learned when I started beading 4 years ago. It is a North American Indian technique and very good for beginners.
I experimented with quite a few color combinations and made matching ankle chains. My beading addiction really took off after this.

Still in “space mode” I made this necklace which depicts the orbit of Saturn. It is made with seed beads 11 and 15, tiny bugle beads and my favorite miracle beads that inspired me to make the necklace in the first place. These particular miracle beads are amazingly beautiful. They seem to lead a life of their own and glow and shine brilliantly.
Bracelet in RAW (Right Angle Weave) for a child.
Usually I like strong colors in my beadwork but this time I thought it would be nice to try a bracelet in one colorscheme. My dear friends bought me a whole lot of nice seed beads for my birthday so I have the same colors in different sizes in stock. Luxury!
I made this bracelet with size 11 and 15 seed beads, crystals and tiny pearls. It is 18 mm (0,7 inch) wide so quite delicate.
And I used my own Double Fibula Wire clasp to finish it off.
Beading in an environment like you can see in the picture below is most delightful. We are 20 NM up the river Guadiana which forms the south border between Portugal and Spain.

Most of the clasps you can buy I do not fancy but the ones in this bracelet I really like.
